These moorings were completely new from ground chain to pickups and were bought with financial assistance from The Crown Estate. This work was carried for us by Grieg Seafood and we are very grateful to both them and The Crown Estate for their help with this project.

All riser chains have been replaced. We are very grateful to Neil Morrison, Feorlig Marine.

Your boat should be safe on one of these!

In order to fund future developments and pay for existing ones we do ask that boats who use these moorings make a payment of £15.00. This can be done on-line (please see home page for bank details) or via the honesty box on the pontoon.

This site is very much in early development, please let us know if there is any information that you would find useful.

At present we are not taking bookings for the use of moorings.

There should be sufficient space to drop anchor in event of all the moorings being used but please avoid the commercial fisheries area.
